WARNING: After reviewing these
questions, you may be hesitant to believe that you could have the
same kind of total and complete forgiveness experience that is being
described below (and thus miss out on the freedom, strength and
health that comes from forgiveness).
Therefore, I want to encourage you
that, after 40 years of counseling people, I have found these
results to not only be possible,
but common for those who are willing
to 'Love and Live Again'!
God Bless your endeavor to be
whole!

Note: The most common question that we encounter
when teaching a person how forgiveness works is, "How will I know
when the forgiveness is complete (or working)?"
Consider the following:
1. Can you talk about your hurt without getting angry, without
feeling resentful and without the slightest thought of
revenge?** (Ephesians 4:31)
2. Can you revisit the scene or the person(s) involved in your
hurt without experiencing a negative reaction?
3. Are you open to accepting your part of the blame for what
happened?
4. Are you sincerely thankful for the lessons learned during the
pain? (Romans 8:28, Ephesian
5:20)
5. Are you rewarding, with good, those who have hurt you? (Romans 12:20-21)
(**Notice that 'forgetting' about the offense,
or the hurt, is not one of the tests! If someone has seriously hurt
you, you may never 'forget' it. However, many times you may be
offended or hurt by someone and quickly forgive them. Weeks later
you may remember 'something' but don't remember the details - you
may actually forget the incident! That's a great a blessing, but not
a test of forgiveness. The reality is that when we stop harboring
the bitterness of an offense, it tends to gradually move out of our
conscious thoughts. You can experience this kind of change in your
life as well.)
If you answered 'Yes' to all 5 of the questions above,
you have truly forgiven those who have hurt you and have opened your
life to the greatest measure of abundance and blessings. If not, we
encourage you to strongly consider the materials provided on the
'Complete and Total Forgiveness' web site.
The book entitled 'The
Freedom to Love and Live Again' profiles over a half-dozen
extreme counseling cases and illustrates the process, and the
incredible benefits, of both seeking and extending forgiveness. Each
of the persons profiled in this book now enjoys a complete and total
forgiveness lifestyle. 'The
Freedom to Love and Live Again' will give you the knowledge,
understanding and ability to achieve the same complete and total
freedom from the poison of unforgiveness and the catastrophic damage
it creates. |
